His single, ‘Cinematic’ secured him the top spot at the Flow Soca Monarch, which was part of the Anguilla Summer Festival on July 27th 2025. This win for Viggy solidifies his place as one of the island’s leading voices in Soca

Though in a celebratory mood, this win reinforces Viggy’s goal to push for Anguilla to be included in conversations about Soca music. Truthfully, “It’s sad to say, but when discussing Soca music in the Caribbean, the island of Anguilla (AXA )is seldom mentioned in mainstream conversations and I want to change that”, says Viggy. In 2024, after his first Groovy Soca Monarch win, the talented Viggy visited Trinidad and Tobago to promote his winning song “Energy.”

Viggy’s electrifying performance at Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre captivated the hearts of those in attendance. He walked away with EC$10,000, a performance opportunity at the St. Kitts Soca Monarch finals, and EC$6,000 to cover his expenses for the trip to St. Kitts. “This victory is not just mine — it’s for Anguilla and for every fan who has supported me along this journey,” Viggy said following his win. “I’m proud to carry that rhythm of Anguilla forward.”

The 2025 Soca Monarch title marks a milestone moment in Viggy’s career as he pushes to open doors for himself internationally. He is focused on regional and international appearances, collaborations, and new music.
