Following a successful 2025 Trinidad Carnival season, Grenadian soca star and the first-ever Ultimate Soca Champion, Wrenroy ‘Blaka Dan’ Ogiste, has released his first single for the island’s 2026 Carnival titled “3AM.” This groovy track pays tribute to his Trinbagonian roots and upbringing in Trinidad and Tobago, which has contributed significantly to his approach to music. Produced by Loyalty Family Production, the producer of his nostalgic hit single “Blessing,” Blaka Dan anticipates the positive reception of this new release.

Blaka’s focus is on continuing to share his authentic vibe through music, with the hope of achieving continued success. In ensuring that the pulse of Trinidad and Tobago is heard, Blaka Dan sought the talent of Joshua Regrello, a Guinness World Records title holder for the longest marathon played on a Steelpan. His pan solo, according to Blaka “adds a special touch to the song.”  The addition of steelpan in this latest track is a deliberate choice to honour Trinidad and Tobago while amplifying the global presence of soca.

With “3AM,” Blaka Dan demonstrates the significant progress his music has made. The official video directed by Dori Production, was filmed in New York City, adding an extra layer of energy with guest appearances from international soca selectors and MCs Kevin Crown and Riggo Suave. Together, the song and video represent a powerful fusion of culture and pride. The track promises to move music lovers of all ages while pushing soca’s sound into fresh territories.

Following the success of his 2025 hit “Blessing,” which earned him acclaim across streaming platforms and carnival stages, Blaka continues to deliver music that feels both rooted in tradition and forward-looking in style. As he looks forward the upcoming Trinidad Carnival season, the Grenadian sensation is reminded of the feedback he received: “People told me that Trinidad appreciated what I brought to Carnival and to hear that from the masses, that affirmation stays with me and motivates me.”

As Blaka Dan often declares in his signature style, “Bam Badam Woi!” the celebration has only just begun. “3AM” is now available on all major streaming platforms, featuring the video for viewing.
